Radhika has brought wonderful joy and enthusiasm to the students in our program. She’s not only knowledgeable and passionate about her subject matter, but intensely skilled in transferring her knowledge to the young mind. Her caring attitude provides an anchor of connection the children trust and her teaching style helps infuse creativity by encouraging students to take risks with their ideas.

"When Radhika walks into a room, her generosity of spirit warms the entire space. She is a joy to collaborate with—creative, knowledgeable, positive, and truly open to all possibilities. These qualities make her a very gifted educator. She has brought immeasurable value to the classrooms in which she has taught acting, improv, and playwriting through her work with Young Audiences. We are so lucky to have her with us"

Radhika Rao is a highly valued member of the SF Shakes Resident Artist Company. She offers many specialized skills that are tremendous assets to our programs. Rahika has acted with us in our professional productions, taught workshops for all ages, directed education performances, participated in scholarly lectures for the community, and she brings creative ideas and new approaches to our company meetings. Radhika’s amiable, thoughtful, and intellectual nature make her a pleasure to work with in all of these various capacities. I would highly recommend that theatre artists/collaborators/fans keep an eye on the shining star that is Radhika Rao.
- Carl Holvick-Thomas, Education Director, San Francisco Shakespeare Festival.
I had the privilege of co-teaching with Dr. Radhika Rao and consider it one of the most pivotal learning experiences in my own teaching career. In watching Radhika teach I have learned so much about creatively engaging students, embodying an authentic teaching practice, listening deeply, and bringing joy, flexibility, and rigor to every class I teach. She is delightful to work with and inspiring to learn from--a truly gifted artist and educator. - Dr. Marit Dewhurst, Director of Art Education and Assistant Professor of Art and Museum Education, City College of New York
